Summer learning Journey day 3. activity 1.

Set task:On your blog, post a description of your beast. Use interesting adjectives (describing words) to tell us about your beast.

My beast is called the phobia he only comes out at night and takes the form of a shadow. they feed on your fears by making you scared they are from another dimension and can do serious damage if provoked or threatened

he has claws that scratch the sides of your walls ferociously they were once hunted for their venom for potions by wizards but have developed camouflage ever since no one knows if these creatures are actually real or are it because they're so good at hiding? no one knows.

  1. Hi Jaimie, I really enjoyed reading this descriptive piece about your 'phobia' beast. It certainly is a very creative thought to write a story about a monstrous creature that feeds off people's phobias. Have you thought about its appearances yet? I can imagine his big claws with long sharp nails... but what does his face look like?

I also like how you have used many descriptive words in your writing. They have added a sense of horror in to your story and has helped me visualise the beast in my head. You have definitely caught my attention and I have to say I would love to read more of your story and see what happens!

p.s. The story also reminds me of Monsters Inc. Have you already seen this animation? I used to be afraid of monsters as a kid but for some reason I absolutely loved this movie. You should check it out as well.
