Summer learning Journey day 3. activity 1.

Set task:On your blog, post a description of your beast. Use interesting adjectives (describing words) to tell us about your beast.

My beast is called the phobia he only comes out at night and takes the form of a shadow. they feed on your fears by making you scared they are from another dimension and can do serious damage if provoked or threatened

he has claws that scratch the sides of your walls ferociously they were once hunted for their venom for potions by wizards but have developed camouflage ever since no one knows if these creatures are actually real or are it because they're so good at hiding? no one knows.

Summer learning Journey day 2. Bonus activity

Set task: On your blog, tell us how to solve this maths problem. You can write your answer in words, use a Sketchpad image, or post a video explaining how you would figure it out. Be sure to give us your final answer in millilitres (ml).

Note: I apologise for the back round noises and I messed up a few times in the video and would love your feedback on how to improve my videos so I can improve on my next task thank you :D.

Summer learning Journey day 2. activity 2.

Set task: On your blog list three sports teams that have the word ‘fern’ in their title. Beside each team’s name, post a picture of their uniform. Then, at the bottom of your blog post tell us which of the three uniforms you like best and why.

The silver ferns
The white ferns
The black ferns
My favourite sports t-shirt is the black ferns, because I really love the way they designed the tops to have black and white put into patterns and If you ask me I would almost wear it on a daily basis but I also like the other shirts as well because of the way you can see the effort designers put into it.

Summer learning Journey day 2. activity 1.

Set task: would you like to go visit Tane Mahuta one day? if so why or if not why not?

I would love to go visit this tree one day to see how small I actually am compared to a 2,000-year-old tree it would also give me a chance to go outside and see how amazing the world actually is and how beautiful aswell.

Set task: Read the fun facts posted on the website and choose your ‘Top 3.’ On your blog, post your ‘Top 3 Fun Facts’ about NZ in your own words.

My favourite facts:

1. It was the first major nation to have universal suffrage. In 1893 all male and female citizens are legally allowed to vote.

2. Gisborne is the first city in the world to see the sunrise because it is 496.3 kilometers away from the International Date Line.

Facts about New Zealand in my own words:

The kakapo is the only flightless parrot in the world and only lives in the south part of New Zealand and cannot be found in any other part of the world.

The New Zealand rugby team has won the world cup three times in a row which is a world record and has the best rugby team in the world.

Christ the King is born!

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21.

I enjoyed painting the back round the most and what I found challenging was cutting out all the detailed bits of paper.
