Summer learning Journey day 2. Bonus activity

Set task: On your blog, tell us how to solve this maths problem. You can write your answer in words, use a Sketchpad image, or post a video explaining how you would figure it out. Be sure to give us your final answer in millilitres (ml).

Note: I apologise for the back round noises and I messed up a few times in the video and would love your feedback on how to improve my videos so I can improve on my next task thank you :D.

  1. WOW Jaimie, you are incredibly talented for making this video by yourself. ⭐⭐⭐

I'm not an expert at editing videos but I know you can use certain apps to add on the audio afterwards on to the video clip once you are satisfied with the visuals. There also should be a muting option for videos you want to make silent. I personally think that the best way to do it is to be in a quiet environment where you can record your voice separately, then combine the audio file and the video clip to somehow synchronise!

Let me know which app you used to create this video and maybe I'll be able to provide further feedback. Did you study this all by yourself? I am super impressed! Well done Jaimie, keep it up 👏

  3. Hey Susie,
at the time that was the only quiet place in the area because my Aunty was moving stuff around in her classroom for next year so I went into the back room and it was STILL noisy. I used the app we use for our school to record :Screencastify: and I couldn't edit my video because you have to pay to edit your video or to use a free editor you need a different kind of computer. anyways I'm glad you liked my work and hope to see you again soon! :D.

    1. I'm glad to know which app you have used to create this video Jaimie. If you are quite interested in visual images, maybe you can take 'photography' as one of your subjects in high school! Not all schools have this as an option but they teach you how to edit photos and videos using a professional app called Microsoft Photoshop. I haven't been able to get this app because as you said, it is quite expensive. But I'm sure you'll manage to find alternatives (different ways)! You are doing an amazing job so far :)
