Summer learning journey activity 2. day 5

Dear Dad

The tundra is an amazing place but it is FREEZING my friend threw tea into the tundra and it turned into ICE! We went on this long walk up a hill and found dinosaur footprints hidden under the snow. We also stayed in a hotel called the tundra lodge and it was so nice there they served you three daily meals but it cost so much :(.  I also went on a 2 hour hike but my friend stayed behind because she was to cold and said that it wasn't worth it but trust me it was. and finally we decided to take a selfie at the top of the hill I will show you when I get home I still have 2 hours on the plane and i'm thinking of getting pancakes for a late breakfast, love you and see you soon.
Love Jaimie.

I think that blogging should and shouldn't be allowed here is why:

blogging shouldn't be allowed in random areas in a forest but to resolve this problem of both arguments I have come up with an idea. there should be an area were people grow trees in a certain area wait till they grow and then cut them down and repeat the process on the same trees therefore not destroying inhabited trees in the wild and still getting to blog. also can I tell you a heartbreaking story my friend told me and I saw because I was there. she had been coming to this one camp for ages like years and there was a beautiful forest walk that led to the beach and they had swings connected to the trees and lots more but one day on her birthday she took me to this place and the whole trees in that area were gone.

so i think bloggers should be allowed but only in certain

My favourite food is pizza.
well you can buy it at a store but here's is how you make it:

  1. In large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in water; let stand for 5 minutes. Add oil and salt. ...
  2. Turn onto floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 2-3 minutes. ...
  3. Punch down dough; divide in half. ...
  4. add tomato paste and cheese then toppings of your choice
  5. Bake at 400° for 25-30 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.
  6. voila

the name of the animal is the Saimaa ringed seal and is one of the most endangered seals in the world.
these seals need lairs to protect there pups but since there aren't any snow banks they cant be protected and are forced to be born on ice, so to resolve this problem the wildlife team are building snow banks for the seals to build there lairs in so the pups are protected therefore increasing the population.

Personally I would love to become a DOC ranger here's why:
I LOVE animals i find all types of animals unique in there own way because they each have there own special capabilities and I would love to work around these fascinating creatures and plants.

Pros:
Get to be around wildlife,
Get to study the behaviours of the animals and the plants,
be interactive with the animals,

Cons:
some plants and animals could be dangerous,
sometimes you wont be able to save the animals :(,
sometimes your research can be frustrating.

here are pictures of the animals I would like to study.
