Winter (poem)
WALT: write a poem about winter using strong verbs

Winter is the time of year,
When my sister starts to disappear,
My dad sleeps in, I’m outside,
Building a snowman but then before my eyes,
all that matters disappears,
my snowman had no nose it appears,
I rush inside it's breakfast time,
another day passes by, but I don’t mind
For winter is the time when we are still in bed at half past nine.

  1. Hi Jaimie,

That was a wonderful story. I liked the choices of words you put into poem.

time make this eye catching with a cool little people would want to see you amazing poem.

This reminds me of the 5 sentence challenge when I was little. It was so much fun! Then I did the 100 word challenge about a creature. I just remembered about a book titled Emily Windsnap and the Midnight Sun. I rate it about 7.5/10, it's a books about a semi mer (human and mermaid) girl called Emily. She has a boyfriend called Aaron and he's a semi mer too. They both tried and stop Neptune's twin from taking over the ocean.
